Jon Friesen brings to his position more than 30 years of healthcare industry experience, having previously filled such progressive management positions as CFO, COO, and CEO of various healthcare organizations.
Jon spent 18 years in the surgery center development and management sector with ValueHealth, LLC and Foundation HealthCare Affiliates, LLC (FHA). He served various progressive positions during his tenure with companies with revenues in excess of $750 million, including as Chief Financial and Strategic Planning Officer, Chief Operating Officer, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Following his experience with the FHA and prior to joining ValueHealth, Jon founded and served as Chief Executive Officer to Physicians Accountable Care of America, a national ACO development and management company.
Early in his career, Jon spent four years as the Chief Financial Officer for a national managed care organization with membership in excess of 350,000 and annual revenues of over $600 million. He was heavily involved in taking this organization public. His additional experience includes serving as President and CEO of a $100 million dollar provider-sponsored healthcare organization, where he was responsible for long-range strategic planning and overall direction of the organization.
Jon has earned the designation of Certified Managed Care Executive and a Professional in the Academy of Health Management.
